Author Tyler Anne Snell

Tyler Anne Snell writes a little bit of everything but has a soft spot for thrillers and mysteries filled with sexual tension. Her first Harlequin Intrigue is set to release in April 2015. Here's a quick rundown to get to know her better!

Her love for writing started with the video game Zelda and Author Madeleine L’Engle’s Time Quartet series and has snowballed out of control ever since. She has never wanted to be anything other than an author (apart from a real life Final Fantasy character or Jackie Chan’s best friend and sparring buddy) and if you asked her what is her favorite activity other than writing, she would point to her filled-to-the-brim bookcase.

Tyler holds a B.S. degree in Design, Technology & Industry with a creative writing minor, which has allowed her to become a freelance designer, social media manager, and blogger—a vocation that has kept her fed while writing in her spare time.

Like most writers, Tyler’s procrastination has been great—leaving three books unfinished until the So You Think You Can Write 2013 contest. She placed in the Top 50 out of 650+ entries worldwide. The experience lit a fire under her backside and, after some back and forth with a wonderful Harlequin editor named Allison, she was asked to join the Harlequin Intrigue family!

If you asked Tyler what her favorite book is she’d look off into space for a good few minutes before listing off at least ten. Her favorite movies aren’t as hard to think through with Howl’s Moving Castle, Big Trouble In Little China, Tommy Boy, Rumble in the Bronx (hey, Jackie!), and Jurassic Park in a constant hold for the top. She has no problem professing her love for Authors Madeleine L’Engle, Neil Gaiman, Daniel O’Malley, Charlaine Harris, Janet Evanovich, and friends C. Elizabeth Vescio and Rebekah Crane. She also hasn't met a Harlequin Intrigue author she didn't like!

When she isn’t writing or reading, Tyler is playing video games with her same-named beau or stuck in the endless void known as Pinterest. All while being logged into Facebook.

She shares a lifestyle and inspiration blog (Almost There) with the lovely Holli Anne and has a Twitter that’s often filled with coffee-related posts.

Tyler lives in a small city in Florida with her fiancé (also named Tyler) and their two mini lions.
